In A Nutshell

Welcome to my small corner of the universe. If you didn't already know, I run a fairly successful free Anime Graphic site called The Forgotten Lair under the alias of Phoenix. I first started to enter the wonderful world of graphics in 2003, and slowly taught myself how to use Photoshop and develop my own style by learning from other artists in forum communities and observing the trends in general. I'm known to create darker, grungier and more masculine designs, though I am not limited to them. My knowledge of HTML and CSS comes from online tutorials and hours and hours of trial and error. (Actually, it took me DAYS to get my first layout to work and YEARS to clean it up.) The motto, "inspired by the changes in perception" reflects a monumental point in my life at which I suddenly woke up from my dark and moody stage, and became inspired to think positive and reach for goals.

Raised in NYC, one of the business and fashion capitals of the world, interest in the arts is only natural. Added with a Business Marketing background in discipline and an appetite for learning, Graphics and Web Design is more than just a hobby - It's a statement.

Besides serving as my online portfolio, imgcatalyst provides quality custom graphics and designs that are innovating and pleasing to the eye. I work with clients until they are completely satisfied with the results in a timely fashion for a very reasonable rate. For a small fee, I also provide site maintenance and regular updates.
